The tools available today
OCR and image tools
The Image to Text tool uses OCR to read printed text from JPG, PNG, WEBP, screenshots, scans, receipts, and document photos. OCR is helpful when information is trapped inside an image and typing it out would waste time. The tool works best with clear, straight, well-lit images and lets users copy or download the extracted text.
The Image to PDF tool turns one or more images into a single PDF. It is useful for scanned pages, receipt bundles, assignment evidence, forms, and photo documents that need to be sent in a more formal file format.
PDF and Word conversion tools
The PDF to Text tool extracts selectable text from PDF pages and displays it in an editable text area. The PDF to Word tool converts extracted PDF text into a DOCX file. PDF to Word is marked as Beta because PDFs are fixed-layout files, and complex tables, columns, images, and scanned pages may not convert perfectly.
The Word to PDF tool reads DOCX content and creates a downloadable PDF. It supports paragraphs, headings, bullet lists, page breaks, and basic spacing. Advanced Word design elements may still need checking after conversion.
CV Builder

Privacy and file handling

Where possible, processing happens in the browser. Image to Text OCR runs client-side with Tesseract.js. Image to PDF is designed around local browser processing. CV data is saved locally in the browser only when the user chooses to save. PDF and Word tools process files temporarily for the conversion task and are not designed to keep user files permanently.
Users should still review their own files before using any online tool. If a document contains private pages that are not needed, remove them first. If only a small part of a screenshot is needed, crop it before processing. Good privacy starts with sharing only what is necessary.
